Hi! Here's a little Information about me!
My name is Rhonda Wiebers (pronounced with a long E sound). I am proud to say that I have more than 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught in special education classrooms as well as in first grade before moving to Fort Crook and spending the last years with second graders.
I am a transplant to Nebraska. I grew up in eastern South Dakota and all of my immediate family still lives there. I have 2 younger sisters and 5 nieces and nephews ranging in age from Justine who is 22 to my newest nephew, Easton, who is just a little more than a year old. Some of my favorite things include watching sports, hot air balloons, reading, volunteering, and spending time with my friends and family - especially my nieces, nephews, and God children.
I love learning. Last summer I became a specialist in mathematics for primary aged students (kindergarten through 3rd grade). I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Administration besides my undergraduate degrees in Education and Special Education.
I am also invested in our Fort Crook community! I help with the school improvement steering committee and I am one of the teacher's who helps other Fort Crook teachers when students are having trouble learning. I'm sure you'll see me helping at some of the PTA events, too!
